2016 Contest & PayPal Information

The 2016 CWA Communications Contest period includes entries first published or broadcast between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016. (Yes, we are back on a calendar-year schedule.) All entries must be postmarked/emailed no later than January 9, 2017 (no exceptions!).

Please read the 2016 CWA COMMUNICATION CONTEST RULES, plus the full list of Regular Categories and Special Awards descriptions BEFORE submitting your applications. YOU are responsible for understanding and following ALL contest rules! All links cited here lead to downloadable PDF files that you can save and print out as required.

2016 CWA Communication Contest Regular Category Entries

The entry fee for Regular Category entries is $15 per entry. A volunteer discount is available to CWA members only. CWA Professional members who volunteer to judge in the contest and CWA Associate members who volunteer to assist the Contest Committee may pay $8.50 per entry.

Please make your check payable to Cat Writers’ Association; payments must be in U.S. funds. You may also pay using the PayPal option below.

Submit THREE copies of each entry, along with ONE copy of the 2016 Regular Contest Entry Form per entry and your check (or payment receipt) to Contest Chair Arden Moore, 726 Deep Well Drive, Allen, TX 75002.

2016 CWA Communication Contest Special Awards

The entry fee for Special Awards is $5 per Special Award entry (in addition to the fee that accompanies Regular Category entries).

Please make your check payable to Cat Writers’ Association; payments must be in U.S. funds. You may also pay using the PayPal option below. (Please note: All entries for special awards must also be entered in a regular category.)

Submit ONE copy (in addition to the three copies you submitted for the same entry in the Regular Category), along with ONE copy of the 2016 Special Award Entry Form, and your check (or payment receipt) for all entry fees, to Contest Chair Arden Moore, 726 Deep Well Drive, Allen, TX 75002.
