The yearly CWA Communications contest offers awards for media excellence in a variety of areas, including categories for writing, photography, art, graphic design, and much more. Anyone (including those outside the United States) can enter. Special Award winners receive cash prizes, while Regular Category winners earn much-coveted Muse Medallions. The 2025 CWA Communications contest closed to entries on May 4, 2025.

2025 Certificate of Excellence Winners
Congratulations to all who have earned a Certificate of Excellence in the Cat Writers’ Association’s 2025 Communications Contest!
Muse Medallions will be presented to the winners at the formal CWA Awards Banquet in Indianapolis on Saturday, October 25. Special Award Winners will also be announced at that time. Tickets for the awards banquet portion of the annual conference will go on sale in August, and anyone may view the ceremony online. Specifics on how to tune in coming soon!
