The Cat Writers’ Association: Media professionals and cat experts in one organization
The Cat Writers’ Association is a global organization comprised of a wide range of talent, supporting a variety of evolving media and platforms. Many of our members write about cats, including:
- Journalists
- Book Authors
- Bloggers
- Copywriters
- Publicists
But from the time of our founding, our members have also included other creative professionals whose work focuses on cats:
- Photographers
- Artists (graphic and fine)
- Cartoonists
- Illustrators
- Broadcasters
- Podcasters
- Vloggers
- Musicians
- Social Media Influencers
If you’re creating content about cats, you need to be one of us! We’re over 200 members strong, mainly in the United States, but our reach includes members located in Canada, Europe, Africa, and Oceania.
Professional-level members are those receiving compensation for their work. Associate members are regularly creating content about cats, but have not yet met our requirements for professional CWA membership.
